God’s Love For You
Romans 8:38 (NLT) “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
If you ask the average Christian what they think about God, they will probably say He is a being who is forever watching, keeping a list of the things we do right and the things we do wrong. If we do something wrong, He gets mad at us. That is only true if you choose to reject His salvation plan. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, then your sins are already forgiven. God doesn’t condemn you for the sins you have committed. (Romans 8:1)
In this scripture, God is stacking the unlimited boundaries of how much He loves us.
- There is no condition that can ever change Him loving us.
- There is no cosmic force strong enough in the universe that will ever impede God’s love for us.
- There is no evil act that we can ever do that will make Him change his mind about loving us.
- There is nothing that will separate us from God’s love.
John 3:16 is evidence of that: God loved the world so much that He sent Jesus to die and take the punishment of sin in our place so that we don’t have to suffer and be forever separated from Him.
If you ever think or feel that God doesn’t love or care about you, that is a total lie from the enemy. There are a lot of other religions that exist, but how many of them will have written in text that God (or whatever being they believe in) loves them? In fact, all of them are performing good works, hoping that their God will be pleased with them.
I am forever intrigued by the fact that God’s love for me and humanity exceeds the boundaries of what I could ever possibly think.
