Not Too Far to Save
Isaiah 59:1 (NLT) “Listen! The Lord’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call.”
Do you sometimes feel like you are in an endless loop of sin and shame? How about feeling hopeless? You may wonder if God is out there, if He is real, or if you are making things up in your mind. Or maybe you feel you are too far gone to turn around and make things right? Well, here is some good news for you. You are never out of reach from God. There is no valley too low, no mountain too high, no waters too deep, and no sky too high where God can not reach you.
The life that we have on this earth is very brief compared to eternity. We are given free will to choose the kind of life we want to live in eternity. Yes, you are going to continue to live in eternity somewhere. And you must choose where you want to spend eternity. If you say, “I’m not going to choose; I’m just going to do what I want,” then you have already chosen your destiny. Yes, I’m talking about Heaven and Hell. Verse two of Isaiah chapter 59 gives the reason why.
Isaiah 59:2 (NLT) “It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away
and will not listen anymore.”
It is our sin that separates us from God. When God is ready to judge the world and clean up the mess, He will separate those who decided to do whatever they want from those who decided to follow Him.
There is still time to make things right. Call upon the name of the Lord, and He will answer! If you are willing to submit yourself to the Lord, turn from your own desires, and accept God’s gift of Salvation by accepting Jesus Christ, then God will accept you as part of the family. God has already forgiven your sins because of what Jesus did on the cross.
Now is the time!
