Give Your Life to God
Psalm 25:1,2 (NLT) “O Lord, I give my life to you. I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced,
or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat.”
We are forever reminded of King David’s tenacious ambition as he sought after God’s heart. Only when you give God your fullest trust and entire life will you discover the boundless revelation of his Kingdom.
God did not send Jesus to the earth only to die for your sins so that you can live any life you choose. God has a much larger plan, and He wants you to be part of it. Jesus died for you so that you can be part of His plan, His purpose, and His Kingdom. When Jesus’ disciples asked Jesus how to pray, He included the bigger plan involving the Kingdom of God.
Matthew 6:9,10 (NKJV) “Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven.”
God’s plan was to establish His Kingdom on Earth just as it already is in Heaven. And that plan is rapidly coming. The only way to be part of His Kingdom is to give your entire life to Jesus Christ. He is the doorway and access to God’s eternal Kingdom.
God is not looking for lip service. Many wear the sign of a Christian but lack the evidence to support the title.
There is an old saying, “You will not get very far if you have one foot in the boat and one foot on the dock.” Get in the boat, start rowing, and let God guide you where He wants you to go.
