God, Hear My Prayer

Psalm 39:12 (NLT) “Hear my prayer, O Lord! Listen to my cries for help! Don’t ignore my tears.”

In life, we have good days and some bad days.  But some days are really bad.  I’m talking about the ones that knock you down beyond what you can handle.  It hurts to the core of your being.  You instantly experience Anger, Fear, or deep Sorrow.  In either case, you are dead stopped in your forward motion.  That is when you don’t know what else to do.

Desperation is the feeling of extreme hopelessness, but you still take actions that are extremely risky.  The problem is that once you make a bad decision, it feeds your desperation even more, causing you to make worse decisions.  King David was in the same situation while being chased by King Saul for many years.  David did one thing correctly.  He poured out his heart to the Lord no matter what the circumstances or situation.  In his anger or fears, he told the Lord how he felt.

Here is a question for you.  Are you pouring out your heart to God?  Are you sincere? Or do you only go to God when you’ve done all that you can do, exhausted all your options, and gone to Him last? If God told you exactly what to do, would you do it?  If God told you to give up something, would you give it up? Or will you make excuses and procrastinate while hanging on to it?

Here is the main point.  God not only hears your prayers, but He also knows the answers to every situation.  Go to Him.  He is always waiting to hear from you.

Be Blessed!
