The Lord Gives Wisdom
Proverbs 2:6 (NKJV) “For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
Have you reached a point in your life where you’re too tired to make big decisions? To go even deeper, you wonder why the situation or circumstance even crossed your path. Now, you must deal with it. People call these problems. When you solve one problem, another one is around the corner.
You have a choice in life to take advice from others, learn from the mistakes of others, or use the knowledge that you have and learn from your own mistakes. That process is how human wisdom works. But there is another process that works independently from your own wisdom, and that wisdom comes from God.
Did you know God left us with provisions and the ability to make good decisions? To make good decisions, you must use God’s Wisdom instead of your own. I know you’re thinking, “You mean I have the ability to use God’s Wisdom?” Yep. It is easier than you think. All you have to do is ask God for His Wisdom.
James 1:5 (NKJV) “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
God will give you His Wisdom if you ask Him. Now, what are the attributes of using His Wisdom? In other words, how do you know that it is God’s Wisdom you are using and not your own? Proverbs 3:17 states that Wisdom’s ways are pleasant and peaceful. You will have an inner peace without anxiety when you are using God’s Wisdom. Another key to knowing you are using God’s Wisdom is that God will never guide you into anything that contradicts what is written in the Word (in the Bible).
Seek and ask God for Wisdom. He promises to give it to you!
